Trip to Googleplex
Helloe folks! Did I tell you about my Google Code-in achievement? As a part of the prize, I also got a chance to visit the Googleplex in Mountain View, California! Yay! And I was there from June 5th to 11th and had loads of fun touring the Googleplex, talking to Googlers, getting Google Goodies including the Bugdroid, buying Google Schwag and what not.
Google Code-in – In the Top 5! W00t!
Hello all! I can, (unofficially*) announce that I’ve achieved the 5th rank out of the participating 360 students (view rankings) in the Google Code-in competition by acquiring 112 points from 34 tasks!
I’ve tried to put all my thoughts into this single post, so you might find it a bit long, filled with a lot of emoticons.
bbPress Back on Track?
Looks like there are some developments taking place in the bbPress community – some major ones! bbPress.org has now been re-designed, there have been commits by lead developers such as mdawaffe and matt, _ck_ and her website bbShowcase would be soon up (as written there). bbPress.org website is still broken at some places (especially the plugin section), but would be fixed in the coming hours/days.
